Preparing the Main Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp tamarind pulp
  • ½ tsp black salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 3 cups chilled water
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Blend mint, coriander, tamarind pulp, and a little water into a smooth paste.
  2. Transfer to a jug and add cumin powder, black salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
  3. Pour in chilled water and mix well.
  4. Strain if desired.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves.
