Ingredients for Bafla
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 1/4 cup semolina (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds
- Salt, water, and ghee
For Dal
- 1 cup toor dal
- 1/4 cup moong dal
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- Hing, garlic, green chili, tomato, coriander
Instructions
- Knead stiff dough. Shape into balls. Boil till they float, then bake until golden.
- Cook dal with turmeric, temper with spices, garlic, and tomatoes.
