Introduction

Sattu Paratha is a stuffed flatbread filled with a savory roasted gram flour mixture. High in protein and fiber, it’s a traditional Bihari breakfast.

  1. Ingredients:

For Dough:

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • Water and salt to knead

For Filling:

  • 1 cup sattu
  • 1 tsp mustard oil
  • 1 tsp ajwain
  • Chopped green chili
  • Crushed garlic
  • Lemon juice or amchur
  • Salt
  • Coriander (optional)

  1. Mix sattu with oil, spices, herbs, and lemon juice.
  2. Roll dough balls and fill with the sattu mix.
  3. Seal and flatten gently.
  4. Cook on a tawa with oil or ghee.
