Introduction
Sattu Paratha is a stuffed flatbread filled with a savory roasted gram flour mixture. High in protein and fiber, it’s a traditional Bihari breakfast.
- Ingredients:
For Dough:
- 2 cups wheat flour
- Water and salt to knead
For Filling:
- 1 cup sattu
- 1 tsp mustard oil
- 1 tsp ajwain
- Chopped green chili
- Crushed garlic
- Lemon juice or amchur
- Salt
- Coriander (optional)
- Instructions:
- Mix sattu with oil, spices, herbs, and lemon juice.
- Roll dough balls and fill with the sattu mix.
- Seal and flatten gently.
- Cook on a tawa with oil or ghee.

Use mustard oil in the stuffing for authentic Bihari flavor.
