Introduction

Tonak is a robust black chickpea curry flavored with roasted coconut and spices. Popular in Goan Hindu homes, it’s often eaten for breakfast with pav.

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion, ½ cup grated coconut
  • Garam masala, tamarind, turmeric
  • Green chili, garlic
