Tamarind Rice Temple Mix

Introduction
Pulikutt is Pulihora’s Udupi version, a tangy rice mixed with yogurt and mildly tempered in temple canteens.
- Mixing Rice
Ingredients:
- 3 cups cooked rice
- ¼ cup tamarind juice
Instructions:
- Mix rice and tamarind thoroughly.
- Tempering
Ingredients:
- Mustard, urad/chana dal, dried red chili, curry leaves, asafoetida
Instructions:
- Temper in oil and mix with rice.
- Serving Suggestions
- Offered as part of puja meals in Udupi and Sringeri temples.
