Chhena Bhaja—or temple-style fried cottage cheese—originates from Jagannath Temple rituals, lightly spiced and crisp.

  1. Preparing Paneer
    Ingredients:
  • 1 cup fresh chhena/chhena slabs

Instructions:

  • Cut into cubes.

  1. Spicing & Frying
    Ingredients:
  • 1 tsp semolina

  • Salt

  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  • Lightly coat cubes, shallow fry until golden.
