Introduction
Kosambari is a light lentil salad offered to goddesses during South Indian festivals like Ram Navami. It is a no-cook recipe with moong dal, coconut, and cucumber.

  1. Soaking Lentils
    Ingredients:
  • ½ cup split yellow moong dal

  • Water to soak

Instructions:

  • Soak dal for 1 hour. Drain completely.

  1. Mixing the Salad
    Ingredients:
  • ¼ cup grated coconut

  • 1 small cucumber (chopped)

  • 1 green chili (optional)

  • Juice of half lemon

  • Salt

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients gently.

  1. Optional Tempering
    Ingredients:
  • Mustard seeds, curry leaves, hing in a tsp of ghee

Instructions:
