Introduction
Bajre ki Raab is a nutritious, fermented drink made with pearl millet and buttermilk. It is offered during health rituals and also during Makar Sankranti in Rajasthani homes and temples.

  1. Preparing the Base
    Ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp bajra flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups water
  • Salt, ginger

Instructions:

  • Mix bajra in water and cook until thick.
  • Add buttermilk and simmer.
  1. Tempering (Optional)
    Ingredients:
  • Ghee
  • Mustard seeds, curry leaves

Instructions:

  • Add a mild tempering if desired.
