Introduction

Aate ka Halwa is a rich, ghee-laden sweet made from wheat flour and jaggery, traditionally prepared in Punjabi households as prasad during religious ceremonies.

  1. Cooking the Halwa
    Ingredients:
  • ½ cup wheat flour

  • ½ cup jaggery

  • ¼ cup ghee

  • 1½ cups water

  • Cardamom powder, nuts

Instructions:

  • Heat ghee and roast flour till golden.

  • Add jaggery syrup and stir continuously till thickened.

  • Garnish with cardamom and nuts.
