Aate ka Halwa is a rich, ghee-laden sweet made from wheat flour and jaggery, traditionally prepared in Punjabi households as prasad during religious ceremonies.
- Cooking the Halwa
Ingredients:
- ½ cup wheat flour
- ½ cup jaggery
- ¼ cup ghee
- 1½ cups water
- Cardamom powder, nuts
Instructions:
- Heat ghee and roast flour till golden.
- Add jaggery syrup and stir continuously till thickened.
- Garnish with cardamom and nuts.
