Introduction

A festive steamed rice cake made from sticky rice, ghee, nuts, and raisins wrapped in lairu leaves.

Ingredients:

  • Guria (sticky) rice

  •  Cashews

  •  Raisins

  •  Ghee

  • Lairu (banana) leaves

Instructions:

  • Soak and grind rice coarsely; mix with nuts, raisins, ghee.

  • Wrap portions in leaves and steam until firm.
