Steamed Rice Cake in Turmeric Leaf Origin: Odisha

Introduction
A festive Odia dish where rice batter and jaggery-coconut filling are steamed inside turmeric leaves.

Ingredients:

  • Rice batter

  • Coconut, jaggery

  • Cardamom

  • Turmeric leaves

Instructions:

  1. Spread rice batter on turmeric leaf.

  2. Add coconut-jaggery filling.

  3. Fold leaf and steam till cooked.
