Introduction

Aadi Paal is a traditional sweet drink made during the Tamil month of Aadi. It’s made with jaggery and coconut milk and offered as a prasadam.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup thick coconut milk

  • ½ cup thin coconut milk

  • ¼ cup grated jaggery

  • A pinch of cardamom

  • 1 tsp rice flour (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve jaggery in thin coconut milk and strain.

  2. Simmer with cardamom until slightly thick.

  3. Add thick coconut milk, cook on low for 2 minutes.
