Introduction
A luxurious halwa made with almonds, this sheera is used in both temple offerings and royal Rajasthani feasts, especially during winter and fasting periods.

  1. Preparing Almond Paste
    Ingredients:
  • 1 cup almonds (soaked & peeled)

  • ¼ cup milk

Instructions:

  • Grind to a fine paste.

  1. Cooking Sheera
    Ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp ghee

  • ½ cup sugar

  • Cardamom powder

  • Saffron strands (optional)

Instructions:

  • Fry paste in ghee until aromatic and light brown.

  • Add sugar, cardamom, and saffron. Cook until ghee separates.

Pro Tips

  • Stir continuously to prevent burning.

  • Add khoya for a richer version.

  • Serve warm in silver bowls during puja.
