- Preparing the Thoran
Ingredients:
- 1 banana flower (cleaned and chopped)
- ¼ cup grated coconut
- 2 dry red chilies
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp urad dal
- Curry leaves
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- Salt to taste

- Heat oil, crackle mustard seeds and urad dal.
