Introduction

Chainsoo is a rich, earthy dish made by roasting urad dal and cooking it into a thick curry. It’s nutritious, protein-packed, and warming.

Ingredients:
 1 cup whole urad dal
1 onion, garlic, ginger
Cumin, turmeric, salt
Mustard oil, water

Instructions:
 Roast dal till aromatic, grind coarsely.
Sauté onion, garlic, cumin in oil.
Add ground dal, turmeric, salt, water.
Simmer till thick and creamy.
