Introduction
A delicious curry made with raw jackfruit, often called “vegetarian meat” in Bengal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw jackfruit (cut and boiled)
  • 2 potatoes (cubed)
  • 2 onions (chopped)
  • 1 tomato (chopped)
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil

Instructions
Fry potatoes and jackfruit.
Prepare onion-tomato masala, add vegetables, cook till thick.

  • Grease knife and hands with oil before cutting jackfruit.
  • Pressure-cook jackfruit for quick cooking.
