Introduction
Karachi Halwa, also known as Bombay Halwa, is a glossy, chewy dessert made with cornflour, sugar, and ghee. It’s famous for its vibrant colors and melt-in-the-mouth texture.

Ingredients
 1 cup cornflour
2 cups sugar
2½ cups water
½ cup ghee
Cardamom powder, chopped pistachios

Instructions
 Mix cornflour with water till lump-free.
In a pan, melt sugar with water to form a syrup.
Add cornflour mixture slowly, stirring constantly.
Add ghee in intervals till mixture thickens and turns glossy.
Stir in cardamom and nuts, pour into greased tray to set.

Color it naturally with beetroot or saffron if desired.
