Tilor Laru is a traditional Assamese sweet made during Magh Bihu using black sesame seeds and jaggery. It’s simple, healthy, and has a rich nutty flavor.

  • ¾ cup jaggery
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions:

  1. Dry roast sesame seeds until they start popping.
  2. Heat jaggery with water until sticky (soft ball stage).
  3. Mix sesame and quickly shape into balls while warm.
