Introduction
Tilor Laru is a traditional Assamese sweet made during Magh Bihu using black sesame seeds and jaggery. It’s simple, healthy, and has a rich nutty flavor.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup black sesame seeds
- ¾ cup jaggery
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions:
- Dry roast sesame seeds until they start popping.
- Heat jaggery with water until sticky (soft ball stage).
- Mix sesame and quickly shape into balls while warm.
